O mundo inteiro era do tamanho da Spaceship Earth e havia uma cama elástica – e a elasticidade era respeitável, pois era comum ser lançado a alturas siderais. A força peso era de uma grandeza descomunal também, tal era a rapidez da queda. Não me pergunte por que, indefectivelmente, nunca aterrissava fora da cama elástica. A melhor parte da descida (ou subida) era quando, em algum lugar entre lua, estrela, nuvem, montanha e goiabeira, eu conseguia encontrar um par de olhos castanhos, quase pretos, subindo (ou descendo). Talvez alguém venha alegar que era um mundo deveras bobo, pois não havia cachorrinhos, nem pudim de leite, nem hidrantes ou qualquer outra ocupação a qual se dedicar, a não ser a de passar horas pulando, sorrindo igual criança quando um passava pelo outro. A vontade de contar os cílios daqueles olhos castanhos, quase pretos, e o sorriso medroso dela enquanto caía, segurando meu braço. As coisas que eu mais gostei de lembrar quando ouvi um trim e o guarda-roupa apareceu rasgando a espiral onírica, às 06:40, horário de Brasília.
